Members of the Junior Youth Group will be helping at the Spaghetti Dinner on March 10th. They will be assisting with meal preparation and setting up of the dining area.

February’s Agape Table Meal served 97 meals.  We have started a list of shut-ins to whom we deliver Agape meals.

As I write this, it is Martin Luther King, Jr.'s day of observance, which means that he would have been 90 years old had he not been assassinated in 1968.

On January 9th we enjoyed another Agape Community Meal with about 88 people attending.

Movie Night was held at Trinity on Saturday, January 12th at 7:00 PM following the Saturday evening worship service. We were joined by members of Friedens Llewellyn and together there were about 30 who watched and enjoyed the movie.

We enjoyed getting together with members of Friedens, Llewellyn for our second Breakfast with the Bible on Saturday January 26th at 8:00 AM.   Over a delicious breakfast, we discussed Isaiah 43, which talks about God’s hope for his people.

Every now and then, I get the question of why do we baptize young children.  This is a fairly controversial topic within the church, as some denominations only baptize children when they feel the child can make their own decision about baptism.  

On Saturday morning, January 12th, Council members met to identify goals and activities for Trinity for the coming year. 

I look forward to 2019. I hope that you do too. Maybe you're not looking forward to 2019. Maybe you see challenges ahead. The church is no different, and certainly, we will all have challenges in some place in life.

On December 12th we enjoyed another Agape Community Meal. The Kitchen and Discipleship Committees started this ministry in March of 2017 and it is going strong ever since.

The Junior Youth Group went Christmas Caroling at Providence Place in Pine Grove on December 19. Thanks to our drivers who made it possible for transport from the High School and then back to Trinity

It is always such a joyful celebration of Christmas when we see our children re-enacting the story of Jesus Birth.  We look forward to hearing the message they share with us and love seeing them grow in their faith as they participate in this program each year.

January brings about Epiphany, when we observe the coming of the Magi to greet the Christ Child.  One particular hymn, "We Three Kings of Orient Are", which is found in our blue book With One Voice, is almost always sung around that time of year.
