Movie Night - January 12th

Movie Night was held at Trinity on Saturday, January 12th at 7:00 PM following the Saturday evening worship service. We were joined by members of Friedens Llewellyn and together there were about 30 who watched the Fred Rogers documentary. The movie provided an opportunity to get to know more about this amazing man. The main reason he started his show for children is because he did not like what children were being exposed to on TV back in the 50’s. He said “What we see and what we hear is what we will become.” He did his best to expose children to lessons about love, kindness, and self worth and helped them understand what was going on in the world. It was a very inspiring evening, and we enjoyed getting to know our Brothers and Sisters in Christ from Friedens.
