Rose Spotts

Rest eternal grant her, Lord, and let light perpetual shine upon her.

      Rose Spotts entered into eternal rest on December 3, 2018.  Pastor Brian shared this about Rose…  When I think of Rose, I think of someone who loved this community.  As most of you know, Rose worked for years in the cafeteria at the high school.  She loved that work and loved seeing the kids every day, and loved that she could be a part of taking care of them.  She also joked with me that she didn't have a long commute!  (She and her husband Ron live probably about a three minute walk from the school.)  Also when I think of Rose I will always think of that smile that she had when I saw her.  That smile persisted, even with her lengthy battle with cancer.  She loved her family and loved how they lovingly supported her through the past few years.  Her grandson up to a few weeks ago was calling her to let her know which foods to eat that would help battle cancer.  As per Rose's wishes, there was no public service, but do keep her husband Ron and their entire family in your prayers.  As most of you know, Ron is one of the friendliest people we have in our community, and I am sure that in a few weeks he would appreciate a call or a card.  May the hope of the resurrection carry us as we mourn the loss of Rose Spotts.
