The mail box was added to share notes from people who took the time to share their thoughts and expressions of gratitude with Trinity.

I have heard from time to time people expressing, "I don't need to come to church. I can pray on my own." While technically it is true that we can all pray on our own, the Bible is clear that part of our faith walk is supposed to involve worship together with our Brothers and Sisters in Christ.

On Sunday, September 23rd, we added new members to our church family…Scott and Kylene Kroh and Brock and Kristen Troutman and their children Hunter, Hogan, and Hudson. 

Congratulations to Christine Trusky and Ryan Duffy who were married on Saturday, September 8, 2018.

On Sunday, September 23rd, we installed those trained as acolytes.

On Sunday, September 9th, the following Sunday School teachers were installed.

At the beginning of the Sunday School year, the Christian Education Committee supports our students in their faith journeys by presenting a book of Bible stories to each 2-3 year old and a Spark Bible to each 3rd and 4th grade student.

Our new Sunday School year began on Sunday, September 9th, at 9:00 AM. 

Rally Day is the kick-off event for the start of the new Sunday School Year. 

Our Junior Youth Group is very active! We have 30 kids participating in our Junior Youth Group. Thanks to all the volunteers who are making this possible!

Our Agape Community Meals are still going strong. At our September 12th meal there were 78 people who joined us for a delicious meal and pleasant evening of fellowship.

I used to dread this time of year when I was a kid, largely because it meant returning to school. Returning to school meant the end of a largely carefree summer and days spent at the Frackville Pool. 

Trinity’s Council begins each meeting with prayer by a Council member. Many of these prayers ask God for guidance as we discuss issues and make decisions for our congregation. Joe Fogarty’s prayer for our August meeting focused on giving thanks for our congregation and its ministries.

Our Annual Day Camp Sunday worship service and picnic were held on August 5th at the Hegins Park. Pastor Brian led the worship service, Pastor Mark preached the children’s sermon, and Camp Director Katie Bowman presented the Day Camp part of the service.
