December's Highlights
Baptism of Rylan Austin Fogarty
On Saturday, December 17th, Trinity and Almighty God brought a new member into our family, Rylan Austin Fogarty, through the sacrament of Baptism. Rylan was brought to font by his parents, Madison Courtney Maurer and Kellen Thomas Fogarty. Throughout his Christian upbringing he will be supported by his godparents, Ainsley Glosek and Collin Maurer. We welcome Rylan as a fellow worker with us. We extend our love and support as Rylan grows in his knowledge and faith in the Word of God.
Praise God on this special evening!
Annual Nativity Puppet Show
This year we again had our Annual Nativity Puppet Show. Carolyn Dunkelberger read the story of the first Christmas, and the children placed the puppets to create the Nativity scene. The kiddos did a great job answering the questions Carolyn asked about what happened that special day. It was so good to hear how well they knew the real meaning of Christmas!
Children’s Christmas Program
We were again blessed to experience Christmas through our annual Children’s Christmas Program. From the special music, to readings and recitations, to the people of the Christmas story, the children did an excellent job telling us the story of the birth of our Savior Jesus.
We thank Lisa Rodichok, Carolyn Dunkelberger, and Kylene Kroh for doing such a wonderful job coordinating the program and everyone who helped with rehearsals. A special thank you to all the children who participated in the program and to the parents who brought their children to take part.
The Blessings of Christmas
Oh, what beautiful and meaningful Christmas Eve services we experienced – the brass, the hymns, the special music, the sermon and worship service, the candlelight, and all those who attended. Praise be to God for this wonderful opportunity to worship together as we celebrated the birth of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
Special Thanks
Thank you to all the special music participants for our 9:30 Christmas Eve service. It was fantastic to have such a variation of offerings. Trinity is truly blessed to have so many accomplished musicians who are willing to share their talents to enrich our worship experiences.
Worship & Music Committee thanks all those behind the scenes who helped make our Christmas Eve services extra meaningful. From the gorgeous decorations to the bulletin to the video/sound/lighting, everything worked hand in hand to enhance our worship services.
Special thanks to our Christmas Eve acolytes, Gavin Ballay and Noah Dunkelberger, who did an excellent job!
Thanks to our families who led the Candle Lighting service on each Sunday in Advent - the Kramer Family, the Fetterolf Family, the Rodichok Family, the Dunkelberger Family, and the Ballay Family.
h2ope Ministries Haiti
Through a donation from Trinity combined with an anonymous donor’s matching funds, h2ope ministries Haiti was able to construct water reservoirs for two families in Haiti. Since 2019, Trinity’s support of this program has assisted in the construction of six reservoirs to provide water access to the homes of Haitian families.
St. Andrew’s Christmas Concert
Trinity’s Chancel Choir took part in St. Andrew’s Christmas Concert on Sunday, December 18. The concert was coordinated by Dan Umholtz. Trinity’s Ava Kramer, Jason Kramer, and Kylene Kroh were featured soloists. If you missed this superb concert, you can access it on St. Andrew’s Facebook page.
