April's Highlights
Palm Sunday Special Event
Our Sunday School students enjoyed our annual Palm Sunday egg hunt, making a folding memory cross, games, and a snack that told a story
19th Apartment Cleaned and Furnished
On April 3rd, members of Trinity and St. James Pitman completed the cleaning and furnishing of the 19th apartment for Brethren Housing Association’s (BHA) Adopt-An-Apartment Program. Located in Harrisburg, this apartment is a first and second floor, two-bedroom residence which will become home for a young mother and her family. As always, a big thank-you to all who helped clean, and for donating and transporting the items needed to complete the furnishing of this apartment and helping to make it a home for a young mother and her family.
Agape Table Meal
April’s Agape meal was enjoyed by 84 people, plus we had enough leftover food to send ham, mac n cheese, stewed tomatoes, applesauce, and fruit crisp to Haven Ministries in Sunbury. Thanks to Robin Otto for delivering the leftovers.
May’s Agape meal will be held on Wednesday, May 10 at 5:30 in the social hall.
Please consider joining us for food and fellowship! Pass the word to your friends and neighbors. Trinity’s Agape Table meal is always free. No offering is ever taken at the meal.
Although registration is not required, signing up helps the Kitchen Committee better plan for the amount of food to cook. You can sign up on the easel at the back of the sanctuary, or by calling the church office at (570)682-9373.
A Big Thank You!
