May Highlights
Music Sunday
On Sunday, May 5th, Trinity celebrated Music Sunday. A special thank you goes out to all church musicians, especially those who participated in this special service. We often take their roles in our worship services for granted, but today we recognize the talents they offer to enrich our worship experiences. And a special thank you to St. Andrew’s Choir for sharing their talents with us.
A Night at the Movies
On Sunday evening, May 5th , we were treated to another amazing Lip Sync performance,
A Night at the Movies
What a Great Show!
Complete with popcorn!
What a crowd, too!
We thoroughly enjoyed the talented performers who participated in this year’s show.
Each song was such a joy to watch.
You couldn’t help but smile during the entire performance.
We sincerely thank Kylene Kroh for directing this awesome show, those who helped her, those who participated and those who came to watch.
Thanks also to the Kitchen Committee who prepared a delicious meal for us to enjoy.
Most of all we thank God for this special evening of fellowship.
We can’t wait for the next one (hint, hint).
Mother’s Day
On Sunday May 7th We Celebrated Mother’s Day You tucked us in bed at night. That gentle nudge awoke us in the morning. We love you. The older we grow, the more we appreciate you We honestly do not take you for granted. Hope you can have some peace or be surrounded by those who love you.
Happy Mother’s Day!
The Feast of Pentecost
On May 18-19th We Celebrated the Feast of Pentecost.
The apostles had gathered themselves in Jerusalem to wait and pray.
Suddenly, a sound like the rushing of a great wind filled the whole house where they were staying.
Tongues of fire appeared on them.
The Holy Spirit came upon them in power and strength, filling each of them, and they all began to speak in other languages.
Three thousand people, from all over the world, were baptized and received the gift of the Spirit.
Sent by God the Father, and by His Son, Jesus Christ, the Spirit came to continue the Father’s work on earth.
Pentecost is considered the birth of the Christian Church, as the Holy Spirit empowered the believers to witness to the nations and to repent and trust in Christ just as the Spirit empowers us today.
