November Highlights
All Saints Sunday
The church sets aside a Sunday when we remember all who passed away over the year. Traditionally that celebration of lives and the resurrection takes place on the first Sunday after November 1st, All Saints Day. Our Scripture reflects the comparison of life on earth with life in heaven. We hear the reassurance of the celebration in heaven. We “imagine” the joyous reunion with all who have gone before when someone new enters the heavenly gates. Scripture helps us with feast imagery and a place at the heavenly banquet, the ultimate healing, the resolution of all the loose ends.
Veterans Day
Honor and Remember
November 9-10, 2024
We honored our Veterans who volunteered or answered the call to serve our country. You protected and kept our nation strong. For the sacrifice of time, possibly your life, your gifts,
Thank You for your Service!
Operation Christmas Child Shoebox Collection
On Sunday, November 24th we gave thanks to God and asked for God’s blessing on all Samaritan’s Purse Operation Christmas Child Shoeboxes. We pray the children receiving them will feel the love of God and the love from those who prepared the boxes. We were able to contribute 29 shoeboxes to the distribution center in Millersburg. Thank you to everyone for your generosity by participating in the 2024 Operation Christmas Child Shoebox collection.
