What's Happening in November?
All Saints Sunday
On All Saints Sunday, November 3rd, we will remember those we have lost in death. The church sets aside a Sunday when we remember all who passed away over the year. Traditionally that celebration of lives and the resurrection takes place on the first Sunday after November 1: All Saints Day. Our scripture reflects the comparison of life on earth with life in heaven. We hear the reassurance of the celebration in heaven. We “imagine” the joyous Reunion with all who have gone before when someone new enters the heavenly gates. Scripture helps us with feast imagery and a place at the heavenly banquet. The ultimate healing / the resolution of all loose ends . . .

Operation Christmas Child
Trinity will again be participating in Operation Christmas Child. This program uses gift-filled shoeboxes to demonstrate God’s love in a tangible way to children in need around the world.
Please drop off your boxes at the church overflow during National Collection Week – November 18-25. On Sunday, November 24th we will have a blessing of the shoeboxes. They will be taken to the drop off site later that day.
Please use a special Operation Christmas Child Box or a regular or plastic shoebox to pack your gifts and include a $10 donation to cover shipping expenses. The special boxes are available in the back of the sancturary. An information pamphlet containing instructions to pack a shoebox and boy/girl labels is also available on the display table.
For more information about the program, ideas what to pack or not back in the shoe boxes, google Operation Christmas Child.
November Agape Table Meal
October’s Agape Meal served 67 platters.
November’s Agape Meal will be held on
Wednesday, November 13 in the social hall at 5:30 PM.
November’s menu will be chicken and stuffing casserole, coleslaw, corn, and fruit crisp. Pass the word to your friends and neighbors. Trinity’s Agape Table meal is always free. No offering is ever taken at the meal.
Although registration is not required, signing up helps the Kitchen Committee better plan the amount of food to cook. You can sign up on the easel at the back of the sanctuary, or by calling the church office at (570)682-9373 no later than Monday, November 4.
