Ninth and Tenth BHA Apartments Completed

The Discipleship Committee organized the transformation of two apartments into homes for two young mothers and their children. Thank you to the group that cleaned the apartments, thank you to all for the generous donations that helped to make the apartments a warm and cozy place for them to call home, and to the group that provided transportation and muscle to get all the furniture in place and set up kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms and living rooms with all the special touches. We were very happy to have Rachael Hepler, Ava Kramer, Hunter Troutman and Hogan Troutman join us in this important ministry.

Passion Rescue Mission

Archelet Duverne, Executive Director at Passion Rescue Mission who visited us at Trinity last year, proudly announced: “The dream was big! The result was big! We have completed more than 50 rain water reservoirs for families in need in Haiti. We continue to dream BIG! The best is yet to come! So many more families are on our waiting list for a reservoir, and we believe that God will continue to provide. One step at a time. Hand in hand. We will work non-stop to serve as many people as possible. In the meantime, let’s enjoy what God has accomplished through us. That result of 50 completed is not only my job. We all contributed in some way to make it happen. God Bless. Let’s celebrate!”

Agape Community Meal

Trinity’s monthly Agape Table free community meal has resumed as take out only for the time being. Our January response was approximately 95 so we are off to a great start. The free Agape Table meal is held the second Wednesday of each month. Preregistration is required and may be done by calling the office at 570-682-9373 and leaving your name, telephone number, and number of platters needed. Cut off for preregistration is one week prior to the scheduled meal. Pick up of meals will be between 4:30-5:30 on the day of the meal. February’s free Agape meal will be held on Wednesday, February 10 and will feature baked macaroni and cheese, stewed tomatoes, applesauce, and dessert. Preregistration for the February meal will be accepted until Wednesday, February 3. We hope you’ll take advantage of this chance to enjoy TLC Kitchen Committee’s superb cooking skills!

Bible Study

We are pleased to have Pastor Mark Swanson from Friedens Hegins leading our Morning Bible Study which takes place on Monday mornings from 9:30-11:00 AM. We are studying the Gospel of Luke and have very interesting and thought-provoking discussions. We adhere to mask and social distancing recommendations. Join us and bring a friend or two or more!
