Girl Scout Sunday

On Sunday, March 8th we welcomed scouts and leaders from Brownie Troup 31166 and Daisy Troop 31167.  We are happy to be their sponsoring organization, and we thank them for coming and helping to lead worship and take part in the morning’s events.

Agape Community Meal

Fortunately, we were able to enjoy our Agape Community Meal in March before everything came to a halt.  Thanks to everyone who baked desserts, helped cook the meal, serve, and clean up.

Breakfast with the Bible, March 14th

There were 12 in attendance in March’s Breakfast with the Bible, including 4 from Trinity (counting your pastor).  We discussed a portion of Romans that led to a wonderful talk about God's grace and the impact it has on us.

Brethren Housing Association

The Discipleship Committee would like to thank everyone for the generous support received in completing the two recent BHA apartments.  We had a great group of men and women to organize and load furniture in five donated trucks on Friday evening, March 6th.  March 7th the group traveled to Harrisburg and had the trucks unloaded in under an hour while another group set up the two apartments.  What a God moment!  A Mom and her 6 and 3 year old sons moved into one of the apartments and the second apartment is home to a Mom, 3 year old daughter and 1 year old twin sons.

The Discipleship Committee is always looking for used chests of drawers, mattresses, sofas, chairs, tables, end tables, baby and child's furniture.  Please see any member of the committee or leave a message at the church office if you have items to donate.

Congratulations

Congratulations to Ava Kramer: Ava was chosen to participate in the PMEA District 10 Elementary Band Fest –West at East Stroudsburg on March 20*. This band features musicians selected from Berks, Carbon, Monroe, and Schuylkill counties. Ava has been playing flute for three years. Well done, Ava! Ava is the daughter of Dara and Beau Troutman and Jason and Annie Kramer.
*Unfortunately the concert was cancelled due to the schools being closed, but what an honor to be chosen to participate. We are so proud of you, Ava! Congratulations.

Miles to Mend

In March, Miles to Mend was used to pay for one child's activity fund for a spring sport.  Please remember that you can always nominate someone for assistance for Miles to Mend.  Please see the yellow forms on the table in the office entrance.  All assistance must pertain to someone who resides in the Tri-Valley School District.
