Youth Group News

The Senior Youth Group prepared 50 sandwiches for Haven Ministry in Sunbury in April.  We thank them for helping to feed the residents of that homeless shelter!  The sandwiches were put to good use quickly.  Senior Youth Group is now completed for this school year.  Thank you to Lillie Morgan for being our adult helper this year!

Junior Youth Group is also wrapping up its year.  This month, they will have a Pizza Party on May 2nd at Nino's (all those who have driven are invited to come and take part), and the following week, May 9th, they will take a trip to the National Civil War Museum in Harrisburg, also that day providing sandwiches for those staying at the Ronald McDonald House in Hershey.  

Thanks to Joe Fogarty for the Pizza Party, and thank you to our drivers and helpers this year: Joe Fogarty, Carolyn Dunkleberger, Jamie Masser, Robin Otto, Judy Rodichok, Cindy Kramer, Joan Klinger, and Ed Kiesel.  Thank you also to Darlene Kiesel for taking care of the youth group snacks.  We had our largest junior youth group ever this year, and were able to do well with so much help from so many people!

The next Youth Event will be the Roanoke Trip, which is slated for July 6-9th.  Stay tuned for information leading up to and following this event!
